Amrata is the ''eternal'' - that which cannot be destroyed. The energy that existed before this life - our physical manifestation and will exist after physical manifestation. The Amrata movement is teaching the world that we are all eternal spiritual beings – part and parcel of the Supreme Personality of The Universal Energy and that it is our natural constitutional position and destiny to render service to the Absolute Universal Energy Lord. The Amrata Sanctuary is specifically for the purpose of improving the health and social welfare of people through facilitating souls to perform pure devotional service and to associate with other devotees.
Amrata was known as spiritual nectar, which granted those that drank it immortality and allowed manifested beings to remember where they came from. We know that by living and partaking in the Amrata Ashram, devotees are able to attain a higher level of knowledge and happiness, which they have lost due to their attachment to material possessions and outcomes.
In our ancient Indo-Celtic history, the demi-gods churned the ocean, releasing Amrata. Which is sometimes said to miraculously form on, or flow from, statues of Indian gods and Christian Saints. At the Amrata Sanctuary rebuilding our connection to spiritual water and fire is part of daily devotional service. At the Ashram devotees grow, create and consume food and drink offerings from our earth - 'Amrata Prasadam' which allows devotees to be engaged in loving devotional service (Bhakti Yoga) and by doing so , remember and reconnect to the supreme personality of the absolute universal energy and your true self.
